Hew Jewelry is a handmade contemporary jewelry, hewn from sustainable, raw, and recycled materials. Not only is Nanette, the designer behind each piece, an extremely talented jeweler but she is also a close friend. The goal of this project was exactly the type of challenge I love working on: creating a brand that defines your business and solidifies your place within the industry. In alignment with her customer base, Nanette wanted her new branding to be feminine, earth-y and inclusive. She already had beautiful product shots so I knew those should continue to stay the focal point of her business and that the branding should simply facilitate across all platforms.

What I love most about the logo mark is that it could easily be a Hew Jewelry earring. It holds space for the “H” and the “J” while also incorporating color to create a stain glass effect, similar to Nanettes signature designs.
